Charlie offers an array of eight standard beers (indicated with an *), rotates 3 to 4 seasonal or special beer styles, including TWO beer engines and still manages to tap a fresh Firkin every Friday. Here is what’s currently on tap. We will do our best to keep this list up to date.
Apricot Wheat
A light American wheat ale with the delicate aroma and flavor of apricot. ABV 4.7% Available in 22 oz bottles Spruce Creek Lager This light refreshing American lager has a malty smooth character and low hop bitterness. ABV 4.8% Winter Warmer Our seasonal festive celebratory ale. This year we made it with a blend of saison and ale yeast and fermented with blackberries. ABV 9.2% Schwarzbier A traditional dark lager which is well hopped with a bit of roasty dryness. ABV 4.4%
Red Mo Ale An American red ale brewed with Northern Brewer for the bittering and Liberty in the hopback. Very malty and crisp, this ale has all the fun without the AMD. ABV 5.0% Available in 22 oz bottles Mt. Nittany Pale Ale An American pale ale brewed with Centennial hops and hopbacked with Cascade, it's a real refresher that has a spicy, citrus aroma and a slightly nutty malt flavor. ABV 5.0% Available in 22 oz bottles Slab Cabin A classic American IPA with lots of floral punch and assertive hop presence. Hopped with Nugget, Palisade and Amarillo and colored to a reddish hue thanks to Munich and Aromatic malts. ABV: 6.3% Available in 22oz bottles
Double D IPA It's back and bigger than ever! A big Imperial IPA packed with Centennial, Columbus, Palisade and Cascade hops. Limited to 12oz stemmed glass due to abv. ABV : 9.2%
Black Mo Stout A dry Irish-style stout served via nitrogen. Black Mo is a very smooth and creamy beer with a pleasant roasted malt character. ABV 4.6%
SEASONAL BEERS
Beer engine #1 - Arthur's Nut Brown Ale
A cask-conditioned Brown ale. A classic ale characterized by a malty flavor and aroma accented with a slight nuttiness, topped off with a smooth creamy head
ABV 5.3%
Beer engine #2 - Old Fugget
A big bold ale brewed in the style of classic barleywines. Served lightly carbonated through the handpump at cellar temperature. ABV 12.0%
