Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team at Otto’s Pub and Brewery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bartending, a passion for craft beer and cocktails, and the ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Present menus, make recommendations, and take food and beverage orders.
Prepare, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly and accurately.
Deliver food and beverages while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Upsell featured drinks, craft beer, cocktails, and menu items to enhance the guest experience.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tops, glassware, tools, and service stations.
Process payments accurately using POS systems.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be willing and available to work weekends.
Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (5+ hours).
Excellent customer service skills.
Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
Exceptional communication both verbal and written
Good problem solving skills and must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Excellent interpersonal relationships by establishing and maintaining a cooperative team playing environment
