Join our dynamic team as a Merchandise and Beer Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused attitude will drive the success of our vibrant pub and brewery. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, engaging with guests to enhance their experience while promoting our merchandise and craft beers. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on our merchandise and beer selections to enhance their visit
Promote and sell our branded merchandise, including apparel, glassware, and souvenirs, ensuring attractive displays that catch the eye
Assist guests in purchasing craft beers, sharing detailed product knowledge to encourage sales
Maintain clean, organized merchandise displays and ensure all products are well-stocked and properly labeled
Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while providing excellent customer service
Engage with customers to gather feedback, answer questions, and build rapport that encourages repeat visits
Support inventory management by tracking stock levels, assisting with deliveries, and reporting low inventory items
Qualifications
Proven experience in customer service roles with a passion for engaging with people in a lively environment
Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products confidently and effectively
Excellent communication skills to educate customers about our merchandise and craft beers
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special events as needed
Knowledge of craft beers or retail merchandising is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
Must be at least 18 years old due to alcohol sales regulations
