Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for executing delicious pizzas and wedges that meet our high standards of quality and taste while ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are followed.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety regulations.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and knives with proficiency and care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking tools.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Follow dietary guidelines when preparing meals to accommodate various customer needs.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food handling practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a cook or in a restaurant setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
Strong skills in meal preparation, including the ability to use knives safely and effectively.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques specific to pizza making is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen.
