Job Description
We are looking for a Food Runner to join our team at Otto’s Pub & Brewery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and takes pride in delivering a smooth, professional guest experience. Food runners play an important part in keeping service efficient, organized, and on track throughout each shift.
The main goal of this position is to ensure the continuous, accurate, and timely delivery of food to our guests. Food Runners must maintain a strong emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times. The ideal candidate is attentive, dependable, and able to work quickly while communicating well with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to help ensure every guest receives the correct meal in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure efficient food delivery to guests.
Deliver food orders accurately and promptly to the correct tables.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and servers to coordinate food delivery.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests to enhance their dining experience.
Support the team in upholding high standards of hospitality and service.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems, specifically TOAST POS, is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact with guests, kitchen staff, and servers.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Hospitality background is desirable.
