Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at Otto's Pub and Brewery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests.
Present menus, make recommendations, and take food and beverage orders
Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Process payments using POS systems
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be willing and available to work weekends.
Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (5+ hours).
Excellent customer service skills.
Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
Exceptional communication both verbal and written
Good problem solving skills and must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Excellent interpersonal relationships by establishing and maintaining a cooperative team playing environment
